GoRegional is designed to provide regional train and coach service information with minimal data collection.

Information we collect

GoRegional does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or payment details.

If you choose to use location features, your device may ask for location permission. Location is used on your device to show nearby map context or centre the map. We do not sell your location data.

Service and diagnostic data

The app may request timetable, live status, and alert information from the GoRegional API. Standard server logs may include technical information such as request time, response status, user agent, and approximate network information. These logs are used to operate, secure, and improve the app.

Third-party data sources

GoRegional uses transport data and links to official transport resources where available. GoRegional is independent and is not affiliated with Transport for NSW, NSW TrainLink, or any government agency.
